Every day we hear about an innovation in the pursuit of sustainability and resilience—in sustainable finance, resilient cities, climate mitigation, adaptation. There is no question that efforts to become more sustainable and resilient are under a global microscope. While we’re excited individual innovations are happening, these global challenges required we act together through strategic human and organizational bonds.
Whether it is an act of “precovery,” prevention and preparation to recover and rebound, or simply living, working and existing more sustainably. The tighter those social and cultural bonds are the better our day-to-day existence is and the faster we will respond and recover.
On October 8th, Context Partners is bringing together a diverse set of leaders on the front lines of resilience and sustainability at SXSWeco. The panelists represent local, regional and global efforts. You’ll hear directly from the Rockefeller Foundation, the National Resources Defense Council, C-Dots Development, and Brownsville CDC about the role networks play in their resilience and sustainability programs as they seek solutions that scale and have deep impact. Together with attendees, we’ll explore and learn together what makes these organizations and their networked communities cutting edge and effective.
Hope to see you there, but if you can’t make it follow @contextpartners for live coverage and watch #networkedresilience October 8 at 10am ET/7am PT.
